What People do Together in Interaction - SF as an Interactional Happening
Elfie Czerny & Dominik Godat
Room: Arendt - Sat. 9:30-11:00 am
Content
Traditionally SF is described from the perspective of the coach/therapist. With this perspective we see what the coach is doing or should be doing. With Microanalysis of face-to-face dialogue the perspective shifts from what one person is doing to what they are doing together moment-by-moment. With this perspective we start to value the contributions of both interlocutors and see how they co-construct meaning in dialogue together. Together we explore this perspective with Microanalysis sequences and our core model of interactions and derive what it could mean for our own SF practice.
