Curious about applying a Solution Focused mindset? Join our interactive BEO training workshop to explore how we used this approach to enhance employer engagement in Supported Employment (SE). The BEO project, launched in 2023, supports SE professionals in building sustainable job matches based on shared values like zero exclusion. Insights from five countries revealed employers want tailored support, while SE professionals face uncertainty. Using the Solution Focus approach, we trained professionals at every level—from job coaches to trainers. Come experience firsthand how this mindset transforms practice and builds stronger employer relationships.

Daan Henckens works as a policy advisors for GTB and is an expert on employer engagement and IPS (indvidual placement and support), an evidence-based method to support clients with severe mental illness towards and on the job. In his 20 years of experience, he learned that SFA is essential in collaborating with employers and clients, but also in the daily support of employees and IPS-coaches within his organization.
